Last weekend was probably one of the biggest, most important weekends of my life! You guys probably saw by now, two very exciting things happened last weekend. One, we’re engaged! I couldn’t be more excited to spend my life with Kell. I’m going to do a whole nother post on this soon so stay tuned! And two, we’re having a baby girl!!
Our gender reveal party was everything and more! We were surrounded by our families + our closest friends and it was everything I could have imagined. My best friends, Becca + Lorena, found out the sex of the baby 3 weeks before the party to help put this all together for us. I am over the moon excited that it’s going to be a girl!! I’ve always wanted one of each, but always always always wanted a girl for sure. I had a feeling it was going to be a girl from around 7-9 weeks. Yes, I was very sick and nauseous throughout my entire first trimester, but it wasn’t the symptoms that told me I was having a girl, it was something in my gut. I just knew that if it’s a boy, I would be very shocked, so I just assumed that it was going to be a girl. It was so funny because literally, everyone thought it was going to be a girl too.
What I am most excited about having a girl is seeing Kell be the amazing father he is going to be to our daughter. Kell is so loving, affectionate, patient, and gentle he’s going to be the best girl dad. I love him so so so much right now, I can’t even imagine how much my love will grow seeing him hold our daughter. I’ve also always wanted to be a girl mom. My family is full of girls and that’s really all I know, so I’m just excited to have my mini-me, my little built-in best friend. This baby is going to be the first grandchild for both families, so the aunts + uncles and the grandparents are all very excited for her to come!

For planning this gender reveal, for being so supportive through all of this, and just being so amazing! Our baby girl is so lucky to have such two amazing aunties.
