I have been dying to get to this post since I got back from our New Mexico trip! Kell and I were invited by Inn of the Mountain Gods, a beautiful resort in Mescalero, New Mexico for a weekend getaway and there was no way we could turn down such a great opportunity! Inn of the Mountain Gods is located in Mescalero, New Mexico, which is about 2-3 hours from the next major town like El Paso/Albuquerque. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, we flew into El Paso, Texas and stopped at White Sands on the way (read post here).
Inn of the Mountain Gods was a little sanctuary in the middle of nowhere New Mexico. It is a huge, beautiful resort with countless of activities. It’s a perfect resort for adults as well as children! They had a million activities for us to do from horseback riding, paddle boats, zip lining, and so much more! We definitely took advantage of all of the activities and did all of them haha. We were like little kids!
It’s very rare for Kell and I to have time together just the two of us, so it was so nice to have a weekend getaway with him exploring a new place and doing fun activities on our pace. Life + work has been so crazy lately, that it was so nice to relax and take some time off! For those that are looking for a quick relaxing, but fun getaway, Inn of the Mountain Gods is perfect for you!
