As most of you all know, I’m one of the founders of a company called Bloguettes where we originally started 2 years ago teaching bloggers, business owners, and entrepreneurs how to brand themselves through social media, blogging, Photoshop, and so much more! In the 2 years, the company has evolved to so much more and my business partner, Lorena, and I now both work on it full time!
Lorena is currently expecting a little baby boy and we have decided to limit the number of workshops we do in a year, so we took a little break from workshops over the holidays and San Francisco was our first workshop of 2016! This is our second time hosting a workshop in San Francisco and we had such a blast! We had an amazing group of girls and a beautiful venue thanks to Central Kitchen as you can see above. Our first day is always our Lesson Day where we talk about everything from branding, social media, blogging, and monetization and the second day is dedicated towards just Photoshop!
As most of you guys know, we have recently completely redesigned the Photoshop day booklet and it was such a success! I always tend to get nervous when we switch things up in the workshop, but it’s because we always want to do better and we appreciate great feedback to make our workshops even better! Our brand has also evolved recently with the new website launching so we had to make sure that our booklet was up to par with our brand refreshment!
While we were in San Francisco, two VERY exciting things happened! One, I bought a new camera and two, we actually LAUNCHED our new Bloguettes website! So many exciting things were happening all at once- I didn’t know what to do! We have been working on our new website to close to a year and I couldn’t believe it was finally time to hit the big red button. We’ve received amazing feedback since and we are continuously working on the new website to make it even better!

We are headed to Seattle this Thursday for another workshop and we are so excited for it! Seattle is one of my favorite cities and I haven’t been back since our last workshop, so I’m really looking forward to it! One thing I’m especially excited about is our guest speaker, Moorea Seal! If you haven’t heard of her, look her up! She grew her online store thanks to Pinterest and social media that she was able to open up a store front location in Seattle! I’ll be sure to do a recap on it.
