Happy Friday, my friends!

I couldn’t be more excited to share with you photos from my collaboration with SIX:02 and their new line they started carrying, Ivy Park!  I’m sure most of you guys are familiar with Ivy Park, but it’s the Queen B’s new workout line and I’m obsessed with it.  Everything is so cute and most importantly, durable.  SIX:02 has become my go-to place for workout gear and sneakers.  I’ve become a sneaker junkie lately and SIX02 definitely isn’t helping because they always have the cutest, newest stuff!

I wanted to take this opportunity to talk about working out and what I do for it.  Working out has become such a big part of my life and I physically & mentally need it to disconnect.  I find myself recharged & motivated after working out.  I’ve danced all of my life and had always been pretty active, but once I graduated from high school, fitness was my last priority.  Throughout college, I went through body image issues just like any other girl and I went to the gym and did my workouts, that weren’t really workouts, and dieted.  It was just unhealthy and I didn’t really see a change in my body either.  After I graduated from college, I really fell in love with group class workouts.   I started Pure Barre, which I think was my first initial kick off to getting toned and seeing a big change in my body. I was never big, but I had gained about 15-20 pounds from my normal weight in high school and I was ready to get back that plus be toned.  I did Pure Barre for about a month and a half and wanted to incorporate more cardio and decided to join a gym in Arizona called FitRepublic.

FitRepublic is all class workouts and has everything from yoga, hot yoga, spin, barre, boxing, TRX, crossfit, HIIT, and more.  The classes run all day every day and it’s unlimited classes a month with your monthly membership.  I’m not here to try to sell this gym to you, but the moral of my story is that once I started mixing my workouts, I started seeing a huge change in my body.  I dropped those 15 pounds and have become more toned than I was in high school.  I don’t work out every day, but I try to at least 3-4 times a week and yes, it’s so incredibly easy for me to get out of the routine, but you just have to push yourself to get back into it.  It’s extremely difficult to find time to workout, but you just have to make it a priority and you’ll start loving it and needing it! Having a great workout buddy also helps too!

I think everything is about balance and not taking it too seriously.

Thank you to SIX:02 for this amazing collaboration and you can get everything that I’m wearing from SIX:02!
