I’ve always been one of those people that never could sit still and binge watch no more than 2 or 3 hours of Netflix on a Sunday afternoon.  My parents had always kept me busy with activities ever since I was little and I think I’ve always just lived a hectic/busy life.  In high school I was involved in cheer & dance and student council all 4 years of high school and worked part time.  Then came college where I worked full time as a nanny, went to school full time, and held an exec position for my sorority- like I said, I don’t know how to NOT be busy.  Sometimes I whine or complain about how busy I am, but to be honest, I wouldn’t have it any other way and I should stop doing that.

I turned 26 this year and I finally think the busy-ness (or business 😉 ) caught up to me and I find myself getting burnt out more than ever.  I’m having to constantly remind myself how I need to slow things down, put all technologies away, and throw on some reality tv show.  Although I love what I do, it’s absolutely necessary to slow things down to enjoy the little daily things, life, friendships & relationships, and to pause & reflect.  I feel like I’m never not thinking and I really should learn to meditate. lol.  I’ve found blogging, working out, hanging out with friends, and TV shows that doesn’t require my brain to think, really allow me to relax and slow things down!  I also find myself having to remind my self to take breaks during my work hours at the office.  If you’re someone like me, I highly recommend  to just let your brain clear out, get inspired, and get reenergized!

I cannot believe it’s already November and Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  I’ll be spending Thanksgiving week in DC with the bf, so it should be quite the exciting & much-needed trip!  I also wanted to share these photos from my collab with Vida Moulin wearing this adorable sleeveless pink sweater dress (because it’s still 80 degrees here in AZ)!  I hope everyone has been having a wonderful week and make sure to check out more cute fall outfits from Vida Moulin!

Happy Thursday!
