Our Front Room: Styling Our Madeline Sofa

Something Sakura: Home Decor Front Room Something Sakura: Home Decor Front Room Something Sakura: Home Decor Front Room

Excited to show you guys our front room and all the details about it!  As most of you guys know, we moved into our house a couple of days before finding out that we were pregnant!  I was so sick for almost half of my pregnancy, that I had no energy or motivation to decorate the house.  This front room got no love for the longest time, but I’m so happy to see it finally done.  It’s been a work in progress for a long time! haha.

My Goal For The Room:

I, of course, wanted to go simple with this room and just have a warm yet modern feel.  The focus that I wanted is clearly the beautiful Madeline sofa, I wanted to make it feel personal through the gallery wall, but compliment everything with the white + cream decor details.

The Sofa

I first have to highlight our beautiful sofa- isn’t it beautiful!?  Our sofa is called the Madeline from Rowe Fine Furniture.  I encourage you to shop local, and CLICK HERE to find a local retailer near you that carries Madeline! When I laid eyes on her for the first time, I was stunned.  This sofa is one-of-a-kind and it speaks loud without having to say too much.  The green is such a beautiful color that it screams “class” to me.  Not only is this sofa beautiful, but I was shocked to feel how comfortable this sofa was!

I couldn’t recommend this beautiful sofa enough!

SOFA GIVEAWAY – Rowe Fine Furniture is giving away 3 of these Madeline sofas to 3 lucky winners! All you have to do is visit a participating retailer listed on meetmadeline.com, take a picture of the Madeline sofa with the #MeetMadeline sign while in the store, post the photo on their social media and tag @rowefinefurniture and #MeetMadeline to be entered to win (and must follow @rowefinefurniture)! One winner will be selected at random on each of the following dates: 2/17/20, 2/24/20 & 3/2/2020!

Gallery Wall

If you want an affordable way to decorate a big wall, do what I did! I got the 19×19 Ribba Frames from Ikea and printed black and white 13×13 photo prints from Costco! I think all together I paid about a little over $100 to fill up such a big wall! Also, love the personal touch 🙂  I love the black and white photos to make it subtle + cohesive to make the focus on the sofa!

Coffee Table + Accessories

I wanted to keep the warmth in the room, so I knew I wanted a wooden coffee table, with white/cream decorations. I got the coffee table from World Market and the other items from Hobby Lobby, Home Goods, and Target! I like the contrast of the dark wood table with lighter items. I really think the coffee table + the decorations compliments the sofa as well- it really completes the look!
