A few weeks out, but I had to do a recap on Bloguettes Branding Workshop in Chicago– because it was amazing! I swear, I fall more & more in love with Chicago every time I visit.
During our trip, we stayed at the beautiful Langham Hotel in downtown and I say this with 100% confidence,it was my favorite hotel I had ever stayed at! Everything from the lobby, the rooms, and the customer service– it was all perfection. After checking into our hotel, the first thing we did was check out our workshop space. We held our workshop at Mars Gallery and it definitely wasn’t our typical “Bloguettes workshop space”– it was better. The gallery was so unique and it has so much character with different artworks & beautiful frames everywhere! Later that evening, we got lucky and ended up sneaking into a really popular restaurant, Girl & The Goat. My girlfriend was telling me that people wait 3 months to get a reservation, so I guess we really got lucky.
We had such a great group of girls (well, always) at #bloguettesCHI and it’s so funny how at the end of the 2-days, we all feel like we’re best friends! We even had a Bloguettes alumni join us for her 2nd workshop and brought her two employees. Fleur Inc was our floral sponsor and the arrangements they did were just stunning– I wanted to take them home with me! When we travel for out-of-state workshops, it’s typically just Lorena & I, but we were lucky that Bloguettes Creative Director, Gabi, happened to be visiting her family that weekend in Chicago so she was able to help us out during the workshop!
It really was such a blast teaching in Chicago and hopefully we’ll do another workshop in Chicago again. Thank you to everyone that was a part of #bloguettesCHI!
